LET US ACT NOW TO REPOWER THE PEOPLE We are in the 21st Century and many things have changed over the years. Therefore, City Council should also reflect the image of the 21st Century Council. The present Council has no vision for Fremont and call its people a "MOB". The system is broken with cronyism and is controlled by the developers and special interest individuals, rather than the people of Fremont. We should repower the council with peoples’ power, as we are Fremont for Change. The people of Fremont are well educated with a civic sense and great visions. As a result, they have to be included in the decision making for its development, city planning, outreach to quality schools, infrastructure, public safety, economic development, creation of jobs, and to make Fremont the “Green Valley”.
PEOPLE OF FREMONT FIRST In order to accomplish these goals, we have to repower the people of Fremont for change and make Fremont a peaceful and vibrant city. Therefore, I have decided to run for the Fremont City Council for November 2010 elections. To accomplish this I need the help and support of the great and well motivated people of Fremont. Thank you for your participation in the civic life of Fremont for a better Fremont and a brighter future of our children. Please join our campaign to repower control of the Council to solve our problems as a powerful team for change and progress.
WE ARE FREMONT FOR CHANGE We are in the 21st century, and as a result, the City of Fremont should reflect a very modern approach to hear the voice of the citizens of Fremont for a transparent and accountable City Council, rather than to the developers and special interests. It is my commitment to the people of Fremont that I will keep in touch with them, listen intently to their voice and issues, and act to solve them with peoples' power. Let us strengthen the economy by creating more job opportunities in green and bio technologies and to partner with the Fremont School District to make the schools excel on a national level. Together, we can make Fremont a vibrant and green city to improve the quality of life of our families, health, create more business opportunities and offer more employment. I will try to implement the above, if elected to Fremont City Council in 2010. |
